I took up knitting a few years ago and dabbled in scarves but within the past year I really got into it. I mean kind of obsessed with knitting. I learned how to knit with circular needles this past winter and I haven't looked back. It gives you so much freedom with what you want to knit.
I have gained more and more confidence over the past few months and I think part of it has to do with my want to knit things for my daughter. Something about being pregnant makes you want to make special things for your little one.
Among the things I knitted for her was a hat, a button-down cardigan, a vest, a sweater, and a blanket. As of now she is still pretty tiny so she can't wear a lot of what I knitted but I'll give it a few months, then its dress up time!
